UAE: The demand for three-month visit visas is rising; learn about requirements, costs, and other information.

By the end of May 2023, the three-month leisure visa had been reinstated.

The three-month visit visa is in high demand; according to brokers, 20 applications are submitted daily from tourists to the UAE.

A 60-day visa was developed to fill the void left by the pandemic’s discontinuation of the three-month visa. The three-month leisure visa was reinstated in May. Firoz Maliyakkal, the founder and CEO of Tahira Tours and Travel LLC, stated that there are currently three different single-entry visas available: 30, 60, and 90 days.

The following groups of travellers apply for the longer-term visa, as stated by Pavan Poojari, a visa counsellor at Luxury Travels: These include tourists who wish to spend a lengthy vacation in the UAE, the parents and children of UAE nationals, as well as their extended families, as well as travellers who want to see the country before migrating there permanently. A month or two, in the opinion of many families and travel industry professionals, is just insufficient time to fully experience and live in the UAE.. On the other hand, people who want to stay in the country for a longer period of time are relieved by the availability of the 90-day leisure visa.

This is what happened when Matthew recently took his family to Dubai for a three-month visit. “My parents spent a lot of time here, and Dubai serves as a constant reminder for them. Their previous trip had been on a two-month visa, which demoralised them. But they’re happy to be here for the next two months,” Matthew said.
Jessy is looking forward to spending more time with her nephew during her three-month visit. She has been struggling with the death of a family member; therefore, the trip to the UAE will be quite helpful for her. We brought her here for a change, her nephew said in response.

Eligibility

Firoz believes that a minimum salary of between Dh6,000 and Dh8,000 is required. “One is a resident sponsoring immediate family members and friends by keeping a deposit of Dh1,000,” the speaker continued.
Anyone may participate in the second category by using a travel agent who will act as their sponsor. Only a passport copy and photographs are needed.

Cost

An approximate Dh800 fee and a Dh1,000 refundable deposit are required for visas in the first category. Applying is possible through the official immigration websites. “People can apply through their travel agent for the second category for a fee between Dh1,200 and Dh1,400,” added Firoz.

The 90-day visa, according to experts, has been a blessing for many who find it extremely challenging to leave the country for a visa extension.
