Dubai’s Atlantis The Royal is dubbed the “most ultra-luxury resort” in the world

Dubai’s glitz and glamour just became more brilliant with another addition from Atlantis The Royal Residences. Atlantis The Royal, located on the outer crescent of Palm Island, is billed as the “most ultra-luxurious resort” in the world and will begin taking reservations on February 10.

The Grand Reveal that happened between January 20-22 was a huge glitzy affair.

Let’s find out the details of the new stylish and glamorous addition to Dubai.

Beyoncé at Atlantis The Royal

For the first time in five years, American music icon Beyoncé performed live at Dubai’s newest ultra-luxury hotel, Atlantis The Royal.

The invitation-only audience will remember the performance for the rest of their lives since it was well worth the wait.

Brown Skin Girl was performed with plenty of fire, water, smoke, and pyrotechnics thanks to three costumes, a full squad of backing dancers, a cameo appearance, and an on-stage cameo from daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Prior to her anticipated global tour later this year, Beyoncé has taken a break from the spotlight but is now back and better than ever.

Even though the event’s organisers asked for no photography, a few films were published on social media and received ecstatic appreciation from followers.

The singer reportedly earned $24 million for her performance at the Atlantis Grand Reveal, in addition to staying in the resort’s $100,000 per night room, which she paid for in the first 20 seconds of her performance.

Being that the show lasted an action-packed 73 minutes, Beyoncé made a cool $328,767 per minute.

VIPs and famous people flocked to see a performance that featured her top hits like Crazy in Love, Spirit, and Drunk in Love.

In some ways, Beyoncé’s powerful performance on stage is a monument to the goodness that has pervaded Dubai’s last year. The mood in Dubai has been absolutely joyful, with the boom times firmly in place, while many people throughout the world have been advised to tighten their belts and brace for recession and decline.

The sky appears to be the limit in terms of luring talent and artists to a city that anticipates hosting 30 million visitors annually by 2030, with Beyoncé’s performance capping off an eventful year.

The “School of Athens” picture by Italian Renaissance master Raphael served as the stage backdrop for her performance.

A-list stars like US model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner, British singer Liam Payne, Beyonce’s husband Jay Z, Emirati-Yemeni singer Balqees Fathi, Australian actress Rebel Wilson, US model Olivia Culpo, Indian actor Aamir Khan, British actress Michelle Keegan, and “Emily in Paris” star Ashley Park attended the invite-only concert.

Just across from the larger Royal hotel, Kylie Minogue opened the original Atlantis in 2008 with a $5 million fireworks display. However, the city’s economy ground to a standstill a year later as Dubai was hit hard by the Great Recession.

Fourteen years later, Dubai is still at the top of its game, and there are few signs that this success will be repeated. An even more stunning launch and fireworks display are testaments to the city’s self-belief.

Atlantis The Royal features A-list celebrity attire. Who wore what for the Royal Grand Reveal

The elegant red carpet featured everyone from Beyonce and Gauri Khan to Kendall Jenner and Rebel Wilson.

A Schiaparelli dress was flaunted by Kendall Jenner.

Beyoncé was wearing a personalised gold Dolce & Gabbana outfit.

Liam Payne, a British musician and member of One Direction, appeared pumped up for the evening.

Atlantis The Royal Dubai also has the largest spa centre in Dubai and the city’s longest stretch of privately owned beach, promising visitors a stay that would fundamentally alter how they view luxury. On February 10, 2023, the newest iteration of the renowned Atlantis brand will be ready to welcome guests.

Firewalls

Two glass walls with mirrored surfaces that display water flowing with fire bursts let you access the resort. The appropriately named Firefall acts as a precursor to “Skyblaze,” a 28-meter-high fire and water fountain.

Moving through water

When you enter, one of the first things you see is the striking 11.5-metre structure made of water drops. The building, known as Droplets, symbolises the first drop of rain in an arid desert.

The interiors have a lot of water in them. Visitors can virtually experience walking on water thanks to this staircase.

The overall picture

From the Promenade level, you may marvel at the 178-meter-tall, 500-meter-long giant building that houses the private beach, gym, and swimming pools.

A pool in the sky

Views of the entire Palm Island may be seen from the 90-meter-long infinity pool on the 22nd floor. Atlantis the Royal’s towers are connected by the centrepiece, creating “Cloud 22,” an outdoor entertainment venue.

Spectacular view

A room in the hotel’s Sunset Tower offers a clear view of the palm tree’s fronds. The palm’s fronds and the surrounding property sparkle like jewels at night.

From the market to your plate

The centrepiece of the food hall-style restaurant called Gastronomy is a “fish market.” The hall, which houses multiple restaurants, features live cooking stations where a variety of international cuisines are served.

You may choose from an astonishing 17 restaurants and bars at The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences. There are various culinary highlights prepared by famous and Michelin-starred chefs, in addition to all-day eating alternatives and high-rise cocktail bars. Enjoy the Michelin-starred dinner by Heston Blumenthal, sample modern Cantonese cuisine at Hakkasan, and savour Mediterranean fish delicacies at Estiatorio Milos by Costa Spiliadis, a translucent “floating” restaurant. Additionally, you’ll gain access to more dining choices at Atlantis, The Palm, a sibling property.
