The beach receives its name from the kites that float over the sky. The beach, which is one of Dubai’s best-known beaches, is located in the Umm Suqeim area and is perfect for beachgoers, foodies, and especially sports enthusiasts who can go kitesurfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

The best time to visit Kite Beach is between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The water is very clear, and the sea is flat. Although most visitors arrive at about 2 p.m., it is also peaceful.

There is also a running track, a skate park, a children’s play area, and several cafes and restaurants on the beach.

Jumeirah Beach, also known as Jumeirah Beach Residences Beach, is one of Dubai’s most popular beaches. Umm Suqeim is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The beach is one of the few in Dubai that is lit up at night and allows swimming during the night. The Smart Power lights, which are exclusively powered by small windmills and solar energy, turn on at sunset and turn off at midnight. This is the only beach in Dubai where you can photograph the sunset in combination with the Burj al-Arab.

The beach is very busy both during the day and at night. The beach offers various amenities, including changing rooms, lifeguards, a kids’ play area, and even a library. The beach is easily accessible and close to Kite Beach.

Black Palace Beach in Dubai is a lesser-known but well-connected beach recognised for its tranquil and secluded atmosphere. It is close to Palm Jumeirah and offers beautiful views of the Burj Al Arab and the Dubai cityscape. The beach is a great spot to unwind and take in the views because it is less crowded than many other beaches in Dubai. Far from the crowds, you can swim in the clear waters and relax on the white dunes. One downside of the seclusion is that there are no cafes, showers, or changing rooms on the beach.

Mercato Beach, a picturesque and serene beach next to Mercato Mall along Jumeirah Beach Road, is the ideal place to get away from the crowds. Although there aren’t many water activities available at the beach, it does include a free book library (like some other public beaches), free restrooms, sun loungers, a cycling track, and a few eateries serving Middle Eastern and Western cuisine. On Mercato beach, there are a lot of locals rather than many tourists. This beach is perfect for a day out if you don’t want to be among a lot of visitors.

The Al Mamzar Beach Park, located along the west coast of Deira, is one of Dubai’s most picturesque beaches, encompassing an area of 106 hectares and including five pristine beaches. The entry charge is about AED 5 per person, but the experience is well worth it. Children under the age of two and those with special needs get free access to this beach. The entry fee allows guests to use various amenities such as beach volleyball, water sports, barbeque pits,  and showers and locker rooms.

Visitors can hire beach cottages, umbrellas, sun beds, and air-conditioned beach tents. There is a grassy spot where they can place the tents properly. There are four beach sections in the parking area. Two swimming pools, a playground, and a picnic area are also included.

Only women are permitted on the beach on Mondays and Wednesdays since those days are designated as ladies’ days. Children under the age of four are also welcome. Al Mamzar Beach Park can get crowded on Fridays and Saturdays, so travellers visiting the beach should keep that in mind.
