Itinerary

 

DAY 1 – ISTANBUL Arrival at ISTANBUL AIRPORT 

Welcome to Turkey, a nation mainly in Western Asia’s Anatolia region with a tiny fraction in Southeast Europe’s Balkans. After clearing immigration and customs upon arrival in Istanbul, meet with our local guide at the airport exit. You will be taken to the hotel while getting an overview of the city. After a long journey, check into your hotel and relax. Later in the evening, go to Outside Kebab Turkish Restaurant for dinner (walking distance of just 10 minutes, 1 small bottle of water provided). Return to Istanbul for an overnight stay in a 4*Superior hotel.

DAY 2 – ISTANBUL – BURSA ( 155 KM / 3 HRS )  TOPHANE TOWER – ULU MOSQUE – KOZA HAN – GREEN TOMB 

Following breakfast, depart from the hotel around 8:00 a.m. and head to Bursa. As you arrive in Bursa, pay a visit to the Tophane Clock Tower. Then we next explore a  medieval mosque in Bursa, Turkey, called Ulu Mosque, also referred to as the Grand Mosque of Bursa. It was constructed between 1396 and 1399 on the order of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I to honour his significant victory at the Battle of Nicopolis. The mosque is one of the most significant mosques in the city and a major example of early Ottoman architecture. It is situated in the centre of the old city, next to its old marketplaces. In Bursa, Turkey, there is a historic caravanserai called the Koza Han. It is situated right in the middle of the city’s renowned market district.

DAY 3  –  BURSA- KUŞADASI (4 HOURS)

Following breakfast, check out and begin the trip to Kusadasi. On the way, we stop at the Temple of Artemis, also known as Artemesium, the temple at Ephesus, which is now in western Turkey and was once one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Croesus, the Lydian king, constructed the massive temple, which was ruined by Herostratus, a lunatic, in 356 BCE. Croesus later reconstructed the temple.

 

Then we continue to Ephesus (Efes), which is one of the most prominent historical sites in the Mediterranean. During its glory days in the first century BC, it served as the second-largest city in the world, with only Rome being more assertive. You can explore various restored structures and ruins in this area, including the Temple of Artemis.

DAY 4 – TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS – HOUSE OF VIRGIN MARY – PAMUKKALE (3 HRS)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel, and we will begin our journey to Pamukkale and stop along the way to see Virgin Mary’s Home. Then, continue your trip to Pamukkale. On arrival,  we go to Hierapolis & Travertine Hot Springs, which is a ruin of a Greco-Roman city in Phrygia that was built over hot springs in southwest Anatolia. Its ruins are located near Pamukkale and are designated as a  World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Since the second century B.C.E., people have flocked to the hot springs as a spa to treat their ailments.

DAY 5: PAMUKKALE –  ANTALYA (4 HOURS)

Following breakfast, check out of the hotel and board the car that will transfer you to Antalya. After travelling for around 4 hours, we arrive in Antalya. Our stops will include the Marina, Hadrian’s Gate, and Clock Tower. Following that, we enjoy a delectable lunch at a local Turkish restaurant. Just after lunch, we visited to admire the beautiful Lower Duden Waterfalls. After our trip, we will transport you to a hotel, where you will check in and relax for the remainder of your day. Dinner will be served at the hotel, and you will spend the night in an Antalya 4* superior hotel or an upgraded 5*.

 

DAY 6 – FULLDAY ANTALYA

Post breakfast, we head to explore Aspendos and Perge, both ancient cities. At noon, we have lunch at a Turkish restaurant in town. Then return to the city centre, where you are free to shop. Dinner and an overnight stay in Antalya 4* Superior or upgraded*5.

 

DAY 7 – ANTALYA – KONYA (4 HRS) – CAPPADOCIA (3 HRS)

Following breakfast, we take a 4-hour trip to Konya, stopping along the route to see the Whirling Dervishes and Mevlana of Konya. We visit a local Turkish restaurant to delve into Turkish meals. Just after lunch, you will be driven to Cappadocia (3 hours). Arriving at the Cappadocia Hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia 5*.

 

DAY 8 – FULLDAY CAPPADOCIA

Get up early for a hot air balloon flight at 4:30 AM (subject to weather conditions). If a balloon trip is on your bucket list, there’s just one place you must go with the lunar backdrop of Cappadocia. Just board and join the multitude of vivid balloons circling over the area’s volcanic spires and hills. 

Following breakfast, proceed to the Underground City (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is a large underground city in central Turkey that was created by early Christians and where they lived in both fear and faith.

Visit Pasabag Valley in Cappadocia, also called Monks Valley (Paşaba Vadisi), which is renowned for its flawless fairy chimneys that were carved from old lava, ash, and basalt. Monks Valley was previously home to hermetic monks who sought refuge in the smaller cones on the upper parts of the fairy chimneys. Lunch at a local Turkish restaurant

Afterwards, proceed to Uçhisar, located at Cappadocia’s highest point. See Uchisar Castle, the tallest fairy chimney in Cappadocia, and Mother Nature’s Castle, which is an outcropping of volcanic rock that can be seen for kilometres in every direction. After the tour, you are dropped back at the hotel.

DAY 9 – CAPPADOCIA – ISTANBUL (DOMESTIC FLIGHT)

Following breakfast, our private vehicle will take you to Kayseri Airport so you can board the domestic flight to Istanbul. When we initially arrive in Istanbul, we drive to explore the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and Old City. Lunch will be served at a local Turkish restaurant, following which you will tour Topaki Palace and the Grand Bazaar before being transferred to our hotel in Istanbul, so you can check in and relax. Afterwards, we embark on a dinner cruise with a Turkish night show. Return to the hotel; spend the night at a 4*superior Istanbul hotel.

DAY 10 –Departure from  ISTANBUL
