Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Srinagar

As soon as you arrive, we will pick you up and take you to the hotel in Srinagar to spend the night there.

Day 02: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar (90 Kms/ 03 Hrs approx)

After breakfast, you should prepare to be taken to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). On the way, you will pass by Pampore town, where saffron fields can be spotted. Witness the famed Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari upon arrival; these are the most scenic and peaceful locations in Pahalgam; they can all be reached by local taxi or by horseback riding (on a direct payment basis) on the same day. As the days are longer in the spring and summer, you could also find time to take a quick trek to the famous Baisaran Valley, often known as “Mini Switzerland.” We return to the hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay in the evening.

Day 03: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (60 Kms / 02 Hrs approx)

After breakfast, we go for a scenic drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Gold). When you arrive, go to the valley and try out some of the activities. You can choose to go to the Maharani Temple, the Ziarat of Baba Reshi, the Himalayan Ski School, or try zorbing at the Children’s Park (covered by a pony or horse for a fee). You can even visit the world’s highest golf course. After that, you can go for the most popular activity included in this Kashmir family package, which is the ride on the cable car to Khilanmarg (for a fee). Following an exciting day, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Note: Guests must hire a Snow Chained Vehicle from the union on a direct payment basis from Tangmarg – Gulmarg – Tangmarg.

Day 04: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (80 Kms / 3 Hrs approx)

After breakfast, we drive to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold), which is 80 kilometres from Srinagar City in the Ganderbal District. It is one of the most popular, picturesque, and serene places in Kashmir, mostly visited for seeing snow even in the summer. There, you can have a full day of fun and ride a pony to see the Thajwas Glacier covered in ice and Zero Point (Snow Point), which is situated near Kargil around Zojila Pass. Later, drive back to Srinagar in the late evening and spend the rest of the night there.

Day 05: Srinagar Sightseeing

After breakfast, we start day 5 by exploring famous Mughal gardens such as Nishat Bagh, Chesham Shahi, Shalimar Bagh, and the famous Hazratbal Temple situated along the Dal Lakes. In the evening, we take a shikhara ride on Dal Lake. It’s one of Kashmir’s most tranquil and soothing experiences. To experience the beauty that God has gifted this city, which is frequently compared to Paradise. There are plenty of other interesting places to see surrounding the Lake. Later in the evening, you can shop at the local market. After that, we will head back to the hotel to spend the night in Srinagar.

Day 06: Srinagar – Departure

Following breakfast, check out of the hotel, and we will take you to the airport to catch your flight home.

Important Notes to Keep In Mind While Travelling to Kashmir

  • All Above Given Hotels are Subject to availability. If the above Hotels are not available Similar Hotels will be Provided.
  • Vehicle runs only till the point it is allowed in a particular destination, if the guest wants to travel or visit beyond that point will have to arrange the local transport by him/herself.
  • Extra Supplement Cost, which the guest has to pay directly.
  • SONAMARG: Taxi for Tajwas Glacier Maximum 4000/-, Horse/Pony For Tajwas Glacier Maximum 1500/- to 2000/- Per Horse/Pony, Taxi for Fish pond, Zero Point Maximum 6000/- Return.
  • GULMARG: Gondola Ride 750/- Per Pax (1st Phase) 1250/- Per Pax (2nd Phase). Horse/Pony is Not Compulsory. Etv/Snow Bike in winter 1500 Approx. per Round. Snow Chained Vehicle 1600/- From Tangmarg Return.
  • PAHALGAM: Aru, Chandanwari, Betab valley Starting rate 2600/- For ECO. Pony/Horse for Baisaran valley 1200/- Per Horse/Pony.
  • NOTE: Above Rates are not confirmed. Rates can be higher or lower depending on the season. This is Information that you should keep in mind. Keep Guests in mind and be ready for these Extra Supplements.
  • Pre-paid sim cards don’t work in J&K due to security reasons. The post-paid connection is a must.
  • In Srinagar, if you are staying at the Houseboat: – Shikara Crossing is complimentary, do not pay for the same.
  • It is not mandatory for guests to take ponies in Sonamarg/Gulmarg & Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots. All the major tourist attraction points are in close proximity, so you can walk them down. However, if you still wish to take a pony ride/sledging/rafting etc, the rates the highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max.
  • Sightseeing to Aru Valley / Beetab Valley / Chandanwari at Pahalgam will only be done by the local taxi union. Due to the union, outside vehicles cannot enter these places. The rate is highly negotiable if you wish to visit these places. You have to pay extra directly. 

Cancellation Policy

  • Group tours must be cancelled within 20 days, and FIT tours must be cancelled within 10 days.
  • If circumstances compel you to cancel the BOOKING, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing, and the following cancellation charges will apply.
  • 15 to 07 Days – 50% of the total cost.
  • 07 days or less – 100% of the total cost.
