Batur, where you will trek over the active volcano to witness the beautiful sunrise. Both trips up and down the volcano take four hours. After that, we visit Tegalalang Village to admire the magnificent rice terraces. Then visit a coffee plantation to discover the many kinds of coffee, especially Luwak Coffee, the most famous coffee in Bali aside from the traditional Balinese coffee and its production of coffee powder. You can also sample some local Indonesian coffee flavours. For lunch, we head to a local Indian restaurant (Ubud area).
After lunch, we will continue our tour to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Monkey Forest Ubud), which is famous for its Balinese long-tailed monkeys (macaques in English). This enormous forest is home to 600 monkeys living in 5 different groups with distinct territories. Following that, we will visit the final destination of the day, Ubud Handicraft Village, to see the handcrafted traditional Batik paintings, and if time allows, we will also explore Ubud Royal Palace. Head back to the hotel to spend the night (dinner included).
We begin our full-day tour at 9:00 a.m. after breakfast at Taman Ayun Royal Family Temple in Mengwi Village. The temple complex is home to stunning traditional architectural elements throughout its courtyards and enclosures, as well as large garden landscapes with lotus and fish ponds.
Afterwards, head to the Bedugul Vegetable Plantation, which is a beautiful, rainy tropical garden. Next, proceed to Lake Beratan to witness a magnificent Hindu temple inside the lake. To fill your bellies, take you to a local restaurant for lunch, where you will be served Indonesian-inspired cuisine. Following lunch, you leave for Tanah Lot to see the famed Hindu temple nestled inside the ocean above a massive rock, where you can witness a magnificent sunset.
The Eastern Bali Tour starts just after breakfast. The driver will pick you up at 7 a.m. to transport you to Lempuyang Temple, popularly known as the Heavenly Gate. It is a Balinese Hindu Temple built on the slope of Mount Lempuyang, 600 metres above sea level, in the east of Bali. It is known throughout the island as one of the most highly regarded temples in Bali. It has grown in popularity in recent years with visitors who come to see the clouds and take amazing photos of the temple and its surroundings.
Visit Tirta Gangga by noon and enjoy lunch at an Indonesian restaurant. Tirta Gangga was the King Palace of Karangasem Regency approximately 100 years ago and is currently operated as a tourist attraction. In Abang Sub-district, Karangasem Regency features a lovely traditional water park with a large water fountain and wide pond, which is hidden between the green hills, rice fields, and fresh atmosphere. On the way back, we will stop at the Bat Cave Temple in Goa Lawah Village, which is called for the hundreds of bats that live in the cave and is the location of one of Bali’s most important temples. Then return to the hotel to unwind for the day.
Post breakfast, check out of your hotel in Ubud.
