Itinerary

DAY 01: Arrive in Bosnia

  • Arrive in Sarajevo, be welcomed by a representative, and then be taken to your hotel.
  • The afternoon will be set aside for a thrilling guided walking tour through Sarajevo’s Old Town and panoramic sightseeing of the city. You will savour an exquisite fusion of Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and contemporary heritage. The old bazaar in Sarajevo, Bascarsija, serves as the city’s historical and cultural hub. Isa-Beg Isakovic founded Bascarsija in the 15th century, at which point it was constructed. The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo in 1914, which led to the outbreak of the First World War, is perhaps the event that makes Sarajevo the most famous in modern history.
  • It’s time for a late lunch or dinner following the walking tour. When in Bosnia, live like a local by eating traditional Bosnian food (cevapcici, burek, dolmas, etc.), drinking Bosnian coffee, and trying traditional sweets (hurmasica, tufahija, baklava, etc.). Due to Islamic dietary regulations, the most common meat dishes are beef and lamb, though Bosnian Croats and Bosnian Serbs can eat pork. Evapi, sarma, pilav (pilaf), gula (goulash),  burek (börek), dolma, ajvar, and a variety of Eastern sweets are some local specialities.
  • Free time and a night in Sarajevo.

Day 02: Pliva Waterfall, Pliva Lakes, Old Town Travnik, and Jajce Old Town:

  • After breakfast at the hotel, the tour departs for Travnik, a historic city that was once home to early Ottoman emperors, whose influence on the city’s heritage and culture is still visible today. The town’s other noteworthy features include numerous Ottoman-era buildings that have been preserved in almost perfect condition, including two clock towers (Travnik is the only town in Bosnia and Herzegovina with two clock towers), fountains, and a number of mosques and oriental homes.
  • Then you will go to the Coloured (Sulejmania) Mosque, Elci Ibrahim Pasha’s Madrassah, Ivo Andric’s Home (the Nobel Prize-winning Bosnian author), the Blue Water Area, and the Medieval Fortress of Travnik, from which you can see the vizier town of Travnik in all its splendour.
  • The trip continues on to Jajce town, the seat of the Bosnian Kings, after Travnik. Along with its extensive past, Jajac is renowned for the 22-meter-high Pliva Waterfall, one of the world’s top twelve most stunning waterfalls. A popular tourist destination is Jajce, which is known for its widely-publicized Turkish wooden water mills on the Pliva River’s rapids. There are nearby Pliva Falls in the Vrbas Canyon. On the Pliva and Vrbas rivers, there are two hydroelectric power plants, and calcium carbide is made at an electrochemical plant.
  • After that, you can take a boat ride to the stunning watermill complex on the Pliva Lakes. The adventure continues to Semesnica, an ethnographic village that is a haven of peace, natural beauty, and fantastic regional cuisine. You will eat lunch with traditional fare.
  • Return back to Sarajevo in the evening.
  • Sarajevo free time and overnight stays.

Day 03: Gorgeous Herzegovina

  • After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Herzegovina, a region of our country with amazing natural wonders, lovely rivers, and multicultural cities. The Old Bridge-famous city of Mostar will be the first stop. You will delight in the stunning river, magnificent architecture, and surroundings.
  • Continue your journey to Kravice Waterfalls after Mostar. You will be in awe of the incredible nature and breathtaking waterfalls, to put it simply. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Kravica waterfall is a stunning natural landmark nearby Mostar. Kravica Nature Park is a well-liked tourist destination because of its magnificent, over 25-meter-high waterfall. According to legend, the Kravica waterfall has been around for millions of years.
  • The next stop is Pocitelj, a stunning medieval stone town surrounded by high cliffs above the Neretva River and distinguished by numerous medieval defence forts. Pocitelj, a historic town and fortress perched on a hilltop with a view of the Neretva River, is well-known for its restored castle.
  • The journey to Blagaj and Buna River Springs begins after Pocitelj. You can relax in the serenity of Dervish House and take in the beauty of the Buna River here. You will eat lunch while taking in the one-of-a-kind and unforgettable sights that capture the magnificence and beauty of this magnificent location.
  • After lunch, there will be a trip to Konjic, a small city in Herzegovina that is popular for its stunning natural surroundings and historic stone bridge from the Ottoman era (Stara Cuprija). Since the turn of the 20th century, when Austria-Hungary occupied the area, the town of Konjic has become well-known for its woodcarving industry.
  • After sunset, return to Sarajevo. Sarajevo overnight stays and free time.

Day 4: Olympic Mountain Trebevic And Sunnyland Entertainment Park, Nature Park "Vrelo Bosne," The Sarajevo Tunnel Of Life (Famous War Tunnel) Museum, Sarajevo Cable Car, Free Time For Shopping
