Overview

Do you think about a Leh-Ladakh tour package from Dubai? It will then be a wise choice. When you book a Leh-Ladakh tour package from Dubai, you can see all the key attractions in this popular Indian tourist destination in just six days. Leh, the Nubra Valley, and Pangong Lake are all included in the Ladakh tour. The highest plateau in India is located in the Ladakh region. And one of the least explored areas is the Himalayas. Ladakh resembles Tibet more than India because of its close proximity to that country. Because of this, this area is also known as “Little Tibet.” Ladakh is historically significant in this area because it is a part of the fabled ancient Silk Road, which has long been a key strategic location in the Himalayas. It is thought that Buddhism entered Tibet from India through the Ladakh Himalayas. The Nubra Valley is a crucial transit location for people heading to Central Asia, China, and Tibet as a result. Your Ladakh tour with Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake starts as soon as you land in Delhi, the Indian capital. We take a flight to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, from Delhi. We made a diversion to the Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake from Leh. The tour ends with a second flight from Leh to Delhi, from which point you can continue on to your final destination. Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hill, the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the Sangam of Zanskar and the Indus River, the Nubra Valley, the Hunder Sand Dunes, Diskit Monastery, Shayok Valley, and Pangong Lake are all included in Tripfinder’s Leh-Ladakh tour package from Dubai.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

  • Fly in the morning and arrive at Leh airport (Kushok Bakula Rinpoche). One of the most thrilling flights in the entire world is this one.
  • On a clear day, the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, and Gasherbrum can be seen from one side of the aircraft, and the Nun Kun massif can be seen from the other side, which is so close you feel like you could reach out and touch it.
  • You will be taken to your hotel after arriving. Since you went from a relatively low elevation to over 11,000 feet, you would need some time to adjust and acclimate.
  • Visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa in the afternoon to help you become familiar with this fascinating city.
  • Spend the night in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local (Sham Valley)

  • Visit Magnetic Hill after breakfast.
  • One such tourist destination is Magnetic Hill, a location where gravity is subordinate. The Magnetic Hill, which is located about 30 kilometres from Leh, is identified by a yellow signboard that reads, “The Phenomenon That Defies Gravity.”
  • The prestigious Hall of Fame is then visible. The Indian Army built the Hall of Fame museum in honour of the valiant Indian soldiers who lost their lives protecting the motherland during the Indo-Pak wars. About 4 km from the city of Leh, on the Leh-Kargil Road, is where you’ll find the Hall of Fame Museum. It serves as a poignant reminder of the enormous sacrifices made by our soldiers to protect our nation. After that, you can go to the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a place of worship connected to a crucial moment in the Sikh religion’s history.
  • After that, you can go to the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a place of worship connected to a crucial moment in the Sikh religion’s history.
  • The final stop of your first day on the Leh Ladakh tour package from Dubai is the Sangam of Zanskar and the Indus River visit.
  • Later, you return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley (125 kilometres; 5 to 6 hours)

  • The tour will set out for Nubra Valley after an early breakfast. It is situated 125 kilometres from Leh.
  • The trip will travel through the Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road in the world, en route to Nubra Valley. A trip from Leh to Khardung La is an adventurer’s dream for someone who wants to face challenges and succeed in life. Not only is this the highest motorable road in the world, but it is also the roughest section, which puts both the driver and the vehicle to the test. River crossings, avalanches, and landslides are standard on the roads. It is 5602 metres above sea level.
  • The trip will stop by the sand dunes at Hunder after we get to Nubra. Here, you can choose to take a camel ride, see a cultural dance performance, or ride an ATV (at your own cost). After a historic flood in 1927, the Hunder sand dunes were created. These formations still captivate tourists with their stunning landscapes. The double-humped Bactrian camels that roam the sand dunes are another famous feature. You can enjoy your evenings by taking a stroll through the stunning scenery or by attending a folk dance and music performance by local musicians. The village is significant historically because it preserves the royal palace’s ruins and artefacts.
  • Depending on the time, you can visit the Diskit Monastery after visiting Hunder. This monastery, which dates to the 14th century, is deemed the largest and oldest monastery in Nubra Valley. The enormous Maitreya Buddha statue that sits atop the monastery also known as Diskit Gompa and dedicated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, is undoubtedly the place to go to see it. Once you’ve seen everything there is to see, you’ll check into the hotel or camp in Nubra Valley. The evening is unhurried.
  • Staying the night at Nubra for dinner.

Day 4: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok (150 KM / 06 - 07Hrs)

  • The day will begin with the same path towards Leh until the trip arrives in Khalsar.
  • The trip will proceed left from the Agyam bridge to reach the communities of Shyok and Durbuk. The road is excellent but highly steep after Shyok. After Durbuk, turn left and follow the conventional path to Tangtse. Along the Shayok River is where the Shayok Valley is located. It is a “Yarkandi” (Central Asian) name that was probably given by the Central Asian traders who for centuries travelled this perilous route. It is a section of the historic trade route that connected Ladakh to Yarkand in Central Asia. Today, tourists can travel along a rough road that runs from Nubra to Shayok.

Drive to the Indo-China border’s Pangong Lake (3 Idiot Shooting Points). Take in the scenic beauty of the mountains and Shyok River from different angles. One of the world’s highest-altitude saltwater lakes, the lake is a main draw for the area and changes colours from blue to green to red. It is regarded as India’s most beautiful lake and has appeared in films like 3 Idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Spend the night at a campsite close to Pangong Lake.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh (155 KM/05-006 Hrs)

  • Visit the lovely Pangong Lake in the morning and eat breakfast nearby.
  • Take a short break at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot, steaming tea before starting your drive back and passing through the many villages along the way, including Durbuk, Tangtse, and many more on the way to Leh. The village of Tangtse, formerly known as Dagtse, is situated atop a small mound and has about 40 households. Dagtse means “on the top of a hill or a crag.” The settlement, which is thought to be 400 years old, is the current administrative centre for Changthang’s Durbuk block. The entrance to the well-known Pangong Tso is this small, charming village.
  • Spend the night in Leh.

Day 6: Leh

After breakfast, head to the airport in Leh. Bring your trip to a close with unforgettable memories.
