Family-Friendly Zanzibar Holiday Packages for Your Next Adventure Zanzibar is an archipelago located off the coast of East Africa in the Indian Ocean. It consists of two main islands, Unguja and Pemba, as well as several smaller islands. It has a rich cultural history, with influences from Africa, Arabia, and India.
The capital city of Zanzibar is Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its historic buildings, narrow streets, and bustling markets. Other popular attractions on the islands include pristine beaches, coral reefs, and the Jozani Forest Reserve, which is home to the rare Red Colobus monkey.
Zanzibar has a tropical climate and is known for its spices, particularly cloves. The islands were an important centre of the spice trade in the 19th century, and today visitors can tour spice farms to learn about the cultivation and use of these aromatic plants.
The archipelago is also a popular destination for adventure tourism, with opportunities for diving, snorkelling, fishing, and windsurfing. The islands are also home to several luxury resorts and hotels, as well as a thriving local food scene featuring fresh seafood and traditional Swahili cuisine.
So, are you planning a 5-day trip to Zanzibar? Then, book our 4 Nights/5 Days Zanzibar vacation package. When you arrive at Zanzibar International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our staff, and the driver will transfer you to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Following breakfast at the hotel, you have the rest of the day free to explore, or you may choose an optional tour to sail into the sunset and be fascinated by the sun’s endless splendour on an incredible romantic dhow cruise on the Indian Ocean.
Dhows have travelled frequently between Arabia and Zanzibar by sailing the Indian Ocean for almost a decade, aided by the monsoon season. All travellers, including the Sultans, explorers, missionaries, and traders, relied on these ships. Even the Sultan attempted to appeal against the rising pressure on him to end the slave trade in 1837 by sending his dhow to London. Although time and Sultans have passed, these lovely wooden vessels are still sailing the waters.
Come on board, relax, and just take in the stunning view of Stone Town from the water while our staff transforms the vibe around you with Zanzibari sounds, treats of local delicacies, and a few rounds of beverages. This is what great travellers and traders once did.
When the sun sets on the coast, take in the beauty, romance, and serenity of the sea.
Following breakfast at the hotel, you are free to relax or choose a separate tour. Spend a thrilling day as you visit the oldest mosque in East Africa, search for friendly dolphins on an adventurous boat ride over sparkling blue seas, and see the Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys at Jozani National Park.
Have you or any of your kids ever wished to see dolphins? It’s your day today. The oldest mosque in East Africa is still standing in Kizimkazi, the historic capital of Zanzibar. Start your day there. Built in the 12th century, this distinctive place of worship shows proof of the Persians’ early arrival in the southern part of Zanzibar.
Get ready for an adventure as you board a motorised boat and set off for an exhilarating dolphin search after taking a short tour at the mosque. You could even have the chance to swim with these lovely mammals if luck is on your side. After the boat ride, make the most of the time to snorkel in the clear seas and explore the vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life that inhabit the ocean floor.
Enjoy traditional Swahili treats once you get back to land before visiting Jozani National Park, one of the few remaining rainforests in East Africa. Enjoy a stroll through the opulent green rain forests on a walkway that has been carefully created to take you into the mangroves, where you will meet curious, cuddly, and cute Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Zanzibar.
