As you arrive in Cairo, our representative will receive you and take you to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Spend an entire day on a tour of some of the most significant landmarks in Cairo after breakfast at the hotel. The Giza Pyramids, which date back 4,001 years and are considered the last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, are the most widely recognised historical landmark in Cairo. Also, see the magnificent Sphinx. After that, head to the Egyptian Museum to view the golden collection of King Tutankhamun’s treasures and all other special collections spanning Egyptian history. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast is served at the hotel: For over 600 years until its destruction in the third century, Manuscripts in the World served as a significant learning centre. With more than 8 million books, the new library of Alexandria is one of the largest libraries in the world. It also houses several museums and unique exhibits. After taking a tour of the stunningly beautiful new library, we stop for lunch on the outdoor Mediterranean promenade. Afterwards, we drive to explore the Qaibay forts outside the former fishing harbour. Then return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, we go on a drive to Fayoum, which is 100 kilometres to the southwest of Cairo, to see the major city attractions. We will first see the renowned Wadi El Rayan waterfall, followed by the protected Wadi Hitan area and its petrified whales from 10,000 years ago, and then we will visit Mudawara Mountain. Before heading back to Cairo, we will stop for lunch at Qaroun Lake and unwind there as well. Spend the night at a hotel.
After breakfast in the hotel, check out, and the driver will drop you at the airport to board your flight home.
